Arrest Made After LAPD Patrol Car Collision in South Los Angeles

A driver got arrested following a collision involving an LAPD patrol car in South Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as per authorities.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Western Avenue and 94th Street, reported Officer Norma Eisenman from the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.

Paramedics received a call at 1:32 a.m. and quickly transported at least two individuals, including a police officer, to a hospital, according to Brian Humphrey from the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Eisenman mentioned that the motorist was also taken to a hospital and later arrested. The specific charges were not immediately disclosed. The officer received medical treatment and was subsequently released.

It’s unclear whether the patrol vehicle involved was marked or unmarked.
