Florida’s Capital Tacos Announces Opening Date for New Restaurant

Tampa-based Capital Tacos continues its rapid expansion in the United States, opening another location in Florida.

Originally starting in a 1,000-square-foot shop in Land O’Lakes, Capital Tacos, known for its Baja- and Tex-Mex-inspired tacos and burritos in a hip, industrial-chic setting, has expanded its reach.

In 2023, the fast-casual chain is set to open its second Central Florida location in Clermont on November 16, located at 1042 E Highway 50, as reported by ClickOrlando.com.

According to a recent company press release mentioned in the report, in celebration of the Clermont store’s opening, Capital Tacos will introduce a limited-time menu item, the orange carnitas taco, inspired by the citrus fields around Clermont. The chain, founded in 2013, has locations in seven states, including Florida.
