Investigation Underway: Man and Woman Found Dead in Van Nuys Warehouse

LOS ANGELES –  Authorities are currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of two deceased individuals, a man and a woman, in a vacant warehouse in Van Nuys.

The circumstances surrounding their deaths are being treated as suspicious, according to officials.

Late on Tuesday night, an individual contacted emergency services at around midnight to report the presence of the deceased pair within the warehouse.

Previously utilized as a home design and decoration business, the building is now being used as a makeshift shelter by transient individuals in the vicinity.

Upon arrival, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers encountered a locked entrance to the facility but managed to gain access. Inside, they discovered the bodies of the two individuals, along with items indicative of drug use.

The involvement of the LAPD’s Homicide Division was requested after further evidence at the scene heightened suspicions surrounding the deaths.

A forensic investigator is en route to the location, and the LAPD encourages anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact them.
