1 Dead, 5 Hospitalized After Three-vehicle Crash on I-35 in Fort Worth
A three-vehicle incident on I-35 in Fort Worth killed one person and sent five others to the hospital, according to authorities.
Officers were dispatched to the southbound lanes of the 5500 South Freeway at 2:42 a.m. in response to the reported crash.
Witnesses informed police that two cars were involved in the original collision and that a third car hit one of the immobilized vehicles.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, one individual was pronounced deceased at the site, while five others were taken to the hospital. Their current conditions are unclear.
The Texas Department of Transportation said all southbound lanes were halted until crews cleaned the site at 7 a.m.
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. The victims’ names have not been disclosed.
