SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office has identified two individuals who lost their lives in separate fatal shootings that occurred over the weekend in the city.
One of the victims, James Allen, aged 34, was involved in a shooting incident that was reported around 9 p.m. on Saturday. The incident took place in the vicinity of Charles J. Brenham Place and McAllister Street, located in San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood.
San Francisco police responded to the scene, where they discovered Mr. Allen, a resident of San Francisco. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he tragically succumbed to his injuries. Another individual was also wounded during the shooting but is expected to recover, as indicated by the police.
The second victim, Edin Figueroa Acosta, was a 19-year-old hailing from San Mateo County. He was involved in a shooting incident reported shortly after 2 a.m. on Sunday. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Twin Peaks Boulevard. Responding officers discovered Mr. Figueroa Acosta at the scene and promptly transported him to a hospital. Unfortunately, he could not overcome his injuries and passed away while receiving medical treatment.
As of now, the investigators have not made any arrests in connection with these tragic shootings, nor have they released any information about potential suspects.
