Sacramento, CA: Valentine’s Weekend Starts Wet, But Sunshine Returns Saturday

Sacramento, CA – Couples planning outdoor Valentine’s Day celebrations may need to adjust their plans as rain showers linger into Friday morning. However, drier weather and sunshine are expected by Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday starts with a 40% chance of showers, mainly before 10 a.m. Skies will gradually clear, with temperatures reaching a high of 61°F. Winds will shift from the southeast to the southwest, with gusts up to 24 mph.

By Friday night, skies will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to 39°F. Saturday brings much-needed relief, featuring partly sunny conditions and a high of 60°F. Winds will remain light, around 6 mph, making for pleasant weather for outdoor activities.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 59°F, and overnight temperatures in the mid-40s. While dry conditions are expected through the weekend, travelers should remain cautious on Friday morning due to wet roads and strong winds.

Plan ahead for changing conditions and check weather alerts before heading out. Valentine’s Day may start wet, but clearer skies will make for a beautiful weekend in Sacramento.
