Medford, OR – Strong winds and heavy rain will continue to impact Medford through Valentine’s Day, with lingering showers expected into the weekend. A wind advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday, with gusts reaching up to 21 mph.

According to the National Weather Service, rain will persist through Friday morning, with a chance of snow at higher elevations. Valentine’s Day will start wet, but by the afternoon, rain showers should taper off, giving way to partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will range from 43°F on Friday to a high of 48°F on Sunday.

Saturday is expected to bring dry conditions, offering a brief break before another rain system moves in late Sunday. Commuters should prepare for slick roads and potential reduced visibility during morning hours.

Next week begins with more rain on Washington’s Birthday, with snow possible above 4,100 feet. Travelers heading into the mountains should monitor updates for potential winter travel impacts.
