Tulsa, OK – A warming trend is bringing relief to eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas as Arctic air moves out of the region. High temperatures are expected to reach the 40s today, with even warmer conditions arriving through next week.

According to the National Weather Service Tulsa, temperatures will rise above seasonal norms starting Sunday. Many areas, including Tulsa, Bartlesville, and Muskogee, will see highs climb into the mid-to-upper 60s. By Tuesday, cities such as McAlester and Hugo could reach the low 70s.

Overnight lows will also moderate, rising from the 20s and 30s into the 40s by late next week. The warming trend will improve road conditions and reduce heating demands.
