Panera unveils green bread bowl for St. Patrick’s Day in select cities

Panera Bread is turning one of its signature items green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

The fast-casual chain will launch its limited-edition Pot of Gold, a green sourdough bread bowl filled with its signature Mac and Cheese, on March 16 and 17.

Unfortunately for Californians, the limited-edition item will only be available in the greater St. Louis, Boston, New York City, and Chicago markets.

Despite the limited release, Panera fans who can’t try the new item can enter the Panera Pot of Gold Sweepstakes for a chance to win free Panera Mac & Cheese for a year.

Participants should text the word LUCKY to 31261 between March 16 and 21 to enter.

Additionally, on March 16 and 17, MyPanera members nationwide can receive $2 off any size Mac & Cheese.
