Billy Joel postpones concert dates: ‘My health must come first’
Billy Joel has postponed several concert dates while he recovers from surgery.
The singer posted a statement on Instagram, saying he’s expected to make a full recovery from an unspecified medical condition.
“The current tour will be postponed for four months to allow him to recover from recent surgery and to undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors,” the statement said. “Joel is expected to make a full recovery.”
The tour will be paused for four months and is set to resume at Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium on July 5, 2025.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding,” the “Piano Man” said.
