2 arrested for burglary in Orange County; stolen credit cards, passports found 

Two suspects were arrested after they were allegedly found with stolen credit cards, passports, packages and more.

The suspects were identified as Jay James Latunski, 36, and Yvonne Bagley, 39, both Huntington Beach residents, according to the Irvine Police Department.

On March 8, police responded to reports of a mailroom theft at Park Place Apartments. The suspects were reportedly interrupted by security as they escaped with packages.

Officers arrived at the scene and quickly located the woman as she was walking away from the complex. The male suspect was apprehended as he walked in the opposite direction.

While searching the suspects’ car, police found a collection of stolen items including EBT cards, passports and credit cards. Evidence of identity theft was also found in the vehicle.

The stolen mailroom packages were had been dumped on nearby landscaping.

The pair was arrested on multiple charges including burglary and conspiracy. The male suspect, Latunski, was also charged with identity theft.

No further details were released as the incident remains under investigation.
