Police searching for significantly damaged sedan connected to Buena Park hit-and-run
Authorities in Buena Park are turning to the public for help in locating a felony hit-and-run suspect.
According to a press release from the Buena Park Police Department, the blue Honda sedan allegedly involved was caught on camera speeding on Beach Boulevard just before 12:50 a.m. on Mar. 13.
“[The vehicle] was seen on cameras driving south on Beach Boulevard from Artesia Boulevard at a high rate of speed and running red lights,” the press release states. “The vehicle hit a pedestrian at Beach Boulevard and Crescent Avenue and continued driving south on Beach Boulevard and out of view without stopping.”

Police did not elaborate on the condition or the identity of the pedestrian who was struck.
A Honda emblem was found at the crash site and collected as evidence. The discovery leads officials to believe that the car has “significant” front end damage, possibly including a damaged windshield.
No further details surrounding the car or a description of the driver were released.
