New Hampshire State Troopers Arrest Wrong-Way Driver on I-93

Salem, N.H. – State police arrested a Laconia man Tuesday for allegedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 93.
At 4:04 p.m., Trooper Luan Sanches of Troop B stopped and arrested Dexter Cilley, 63. According to police, Cilley entered the northbound off-ramp at Exit 2 in a Honda Accord and continued southbound in the wrong direction.
Authorities said Cilley attempted a U-turn to correct his direction but ultimately stopped. Troopers took him into custody without incident. Fortunately, no injuries or collisions were reported during the event.
Cilley faces a reckless conduct charge and is scheduled for arraignment in Salem District Court. Police continue to emphasize the importance of vigilance while driving.
This incident highlights ongoing efforts by New Hampshire State Police to address highway safety issues and prevent potential accidents.
