Drake and PartyNextDoor have ‘Some Sexy Songs for You’
Drake and PartyNextDoor have finally announced the title and release date for their upcoming collaborative project.
“$ome $exy $ongs 4 U” is set to drop on Feb. 14, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The Canadian artists announced the project on Monday morning on Instagram. The video posted shows a woman singing in a karaoke room as two others are talking to each other. The camera then pans to the back of the room with Drake lying in the booth observing his surroundings.
A song is playing in the background, but the title isn’t yet known. One could assume it will be a track on the upcoming project.
This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated.
They’ve appeared together on songs like “Come and See Me,” “Recognize,” “Members Only,” “Loyal,” “Preach, “Since Way Back” and many more. It’s no surprise seeing as PartyNextDoor, or PND, was the first artist to sign onto Drake’s OVO Sound label in 2013.
Fans flooded the comment section excited for the upcoming album.
“Thank God! I loveeeeee r&b drizzy,” commented one follower.
“What we need!” said another.
The album teaser arrived just hours after Kendrick Lamar took home five Grammys including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Not Like Us,” the diss track he made towards the “6 God” rapper, which ended up being a massive hit.
Currently, Drake is in Australia for his Anita Max Win Tour. He’s set to stay down under until most of February before moving onto two show dates in New Zealand in March.
