Quan got his start in Hollywood as just a teenager when he starred alongside Harrison Ford in 1984’s “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,” as Short Round, the sidekick to the fictional archeologist. He went on to star in films like “The Goonies” and “Encino Man,” as well as the early ’90s sitcom “Head of the Class.”

After a nearly 20-year break from Hollywood, he returned to acting in 2019 to star in Netflix’s “Finding ‘Ohana.” Shortly after he starred in “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” which earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award, Golden Globe and an Oscar.

“Love Hurts” hits theaters on Feb. 7.
