La Crosse, WI – A wintry mix of snow and ice is expected to impact southern Wisconsin starting Wednesday afternoon and lasting through Wednesday night.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service in La Crosse, areas along and north of Interstate 94 have the greatest probabilities for 1 inch or more of snow, while areas farther south face a higher risk of ice accumulation. Even with light amounts of snow and ice expected, slippery travel conditions could disrupt the evening commute. Drivers are advised to prepare for reduced visibility and hazardous roads.
