Flood Advisory Issued for Parts of Northern California

Sacramento, CA – A Flood Advisory is in effect for portions of Placer, El Dorado, and Nevada counties until 10:45 a.m. PST as moderate to heavy rain continues through the morning.
According to the National Weather Service Sacramento, urban and small-stream flooding is expected, particularly in low-lying areas and drainage zones. Flooding of low-water crossings may also occur, creating hazardous driving conditions.
Residents are urged to avoid flooded roads and take precautions near rivers and creeks. Officials emphasize, “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.”
