Man found shot inside his car in Los Angeles neighborhood

An investigation is underway after a man was found shot inside his car in the Harvard Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles early Wednesday morning.

Officers were sent to the area of West Pico Boulevard and South Ardmore Avenue around 12:45 a.m. to investigate the shooting report, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed.

An unidentified man with at least one gunshot wound was found inside the four-door Hyundai sedan.

Officers pulled the man out of the car and rendered aid until paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived, the spokesperson said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and was said to be in stable condition.

Police are searching for three suspects in connection with the shooting. No descriptions of the suspects, or any vehicle possibly involved in the incident, were provided.

Investigators have not determined if the shooting was gang-related.
