Quaker Recalls Pearl Milling Pancake Mix Over Undeclared Milk in 11 States

Chicago, IL – The Quaker Oats Company has issued a limited recall of its Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix due to undeclared milk, which could pose a risk to consumers with dairy allergies.

According to the company, the recall applies to a select number of two-pound boxes of the mix, following an alert from a retail partner. The affected product was distributed in 11 states, including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Consumers may have purchased it as early as November 18, 2024.

No allergic reactions have been reported. The recalled product comes in a cardboard box with a UPC code of 30000 65040 and a best-before date labeled BBD SEP 13 25 P on the top panel.

Consumers with dairy allergies are urged not to consume the product and to discard it immediately. Quaker has notified the FDA and provided a consumer contact line at 1-800-407-2247 for further assistance.
