Baltimore, MD – Maryland will see a mix of sun and clouds Friday before a winter storm brings snow and ice this weekend. Gusty northwest winds will accompany cooler temperatures throughout the region.

According to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington, a storm system will move in Saturday, bringing a wintry mix of precipitation. Areas west of I-95 could see accumulating snow, while others experience icy conditions. Highs will range from the 30s to low 40s, with overnight lows in the 20s.

Sunday will bring a temporary break with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-40s. However, another system could bring snow by Tuesday. The NWS warns that this storm may impact travel, with possible school and work disruptions.

Residents should prepare for icy roads and snow accumulation. Travel delays are likely, especially in the mountains. Officials advise checking forecasts and having winter emergency kits ready.
