Robbers tie up family, steal cash in Hesperia home invasion

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s helping in identifying two robbers who broke into a Hesperia home and tied up its residents before stealing cash and fleeing Saturday night.

The culprits forced their way through a back door of a home in the 11700 block of Farmington Street at about 11 p.m., the victims told investigators.

After tying up the family, the thieves “stole an undisclosed amount of cash” and fled, according to an SBSD news release.

The victims, who eventually freed themselves and called 911, did not provide any description of the robbers nor their vehicle.
