Angelenos have spoken: This is the worst place to park in Los Angeles
We’ve all been there. You have concert tickets at The Wiltern, or a dinner reservation at the hot new Korean BBQ restaurant, and you’re running late after sitting in traffic. Finally, you’re in Koreatown, but you’re driving around endlessly in search of a desert oasis in the form of some street parking.
When you’re cursing while searching for parking in Koreatown, just know that you’re not alone.
The popular Instagram account Americana At Brand Memes, which makes memes that Angelenos can relate to, has spent the last month conducting a “March Madness” style tournament to find out what the worst parking situation was in Los Angeles. Followers voted in polls posted to the Instagram account to decide which place, like Dodger Stadium or Westfield Century City, had worse parking and would move on to the next round.

At first, the competition was limited to specific parking lots or garages across the area. But when making the bracket, Americana At Brand Memes left one slot open for a wild card, which was decided by followers. Koreatown, while not a lot or garage, was the overwhelming choice.
The finals of the bracket was held this week between Koreatown and the infamous lot at The Hollywood Bowl. K-Town managed to edge out the iconic concert venue 53% to 47%.
Finishing in third place was the parking lot at the Trader Joe’s in Silver Lake.
