Little Rock, AR – Arkansas residents can expect a big temperature swing on Sunday as winter-like conditions give way to spring warmth. Morning lows will start in the upper 30s to mid-40s, but temperatures will climb into the upper 60s and low 70s by the afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock forecasts temperatures reaching 73°F in El Dorado and Monticello. Little Rock, Hot Springs, and Pine Bluff will see highs near 70°F. Cities in northern Arkansas, including Harrison and Jonesboro, will experience upper 60s.

Cold air overnight will bring a brief chill, but sunshine and warm southerly winds will drive the rapid warm-up. This shift won’t mark winter’s end, but it will provide a much-needed break from cold temperatures.

Residents should enjoy the unseasonably warm weather before the next cold front moves in. Stay updated on weather changes at weather.gov/lzk.
