Atlanta, GA – A chilly start will give way to sunshine in Atlanta on Wednesday, offering commuters and outdoor enthusiasts a pleasant midweek break. But don’t put away your umbrella just yet—rain is expected by the end of the week.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 63°F. Winds will be light from the west, reaching up to 20 mph in gusts. Overnight, temperatures will dip to 41°F under partly cloudy skies.

By Thursday, clouds will increase, bringing a slight chance of showers after midnight. Friday is expected to be the wettest day, with a 90% chance of rain and highs reaching 66°F. Showers could impact morning and evening commutes, particularly along major highways like I-285 and I-75.

Saturday will bring sunshine back, with highs in the low 60s. The clear and mild pattern continues into Sunday and Monday, with temperatures warming to the upper 60s.
