Bakersfield Police Make Arrest in Horrifying Stabbing Case!

Bakersfield police say they have a suspect in custody after a stabbing that killed someone on Thursday night in the city’s center.

The Bakersfield Police Department says that around 7:13 p.m., they got a report of a fight near the 500 block of Union Avenue.

When the BPD got there, they found a man outside of a hotel room who had been stabbed. At the scene, he was said to be dead.

David Nutt, who is 51 years old and from Bakersfield, was taken into custody and put in the Kern County Jail.
