Breaking News: Donated Fire Engine Transforms Kern County Fire Department’s Training Programs!

BAKERSFIELD, California — The California Resources Corporation gave a retired fire engine to the Kern County Fire Department, which is very grateful.

KCFD said that the fire engine will be used in the Kern County Fire Department’s present and future recruit academies, as well as in future Bakersfield College Fire Academies.

Officials said that the gift of this fire truck gives the KCFD a total of six fully functional “reserve” fire trucks that recruits can train on and get used to.
