Los Angeles County, CA – A solo motorcycle crashed into a light pole Sunday night and was thrown over a fence. He was taken to the hospital.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol got a call about a broken down motorbike on May 21, just before 9 p.m., near the City of Industry on Crossroads Parkway and the eastbound 60 Freeway on-ramp.
When firemen got there, they found a downed light pole and a motorcycle with a rider on it.
When units arrived, the motorbike rider was found on the other side of a fence. To get to the rider on the ground, firefighters had to cut open a lock on the fence.
Firefighters acted quickly to help the person and took them to a hospital nearby.
The reason for the crash is still being looked into. At this point, we don’t know if speed or drinking played a role in the accident.
