California Man Arrested After Illinois State Police Seize Over 10,000 Grams of Cocaine

Geneseo, IL – A California man was arrested after Illinois State Police discovered more than 10 kilograms of cocaine during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 eastbound in Henry County.
According to ISP, the January 18 stop east of E. 1600th Street led to a probable cause search of a semi-truck, revealing multiple packages of suspected cocaine. Jose J. Guillen, 55, of Ontario, California, faces charges including possession, intent to deliver, and trafficking cocaine, all felonies.
Guillen is being held in Henry County Jail. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
