Los Angeles, CA – A rainy week is ahead for Los Angeles, with multiple storms expected to bring heavy downpours and possible flooding through Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, the first round of rain will begin Tuesday night, followed by stronger systems through Thursday. South winds up to 15 mph may accompany the storms, reducing visibility and creating hazardous driving conditions. Commuters on I-10 and I-5 should expect delays due to slick roads.
Rainfall totals could exceed an inch in some areas, increasing the risk of urban flooding. Wednesday and Thursday will see the highest chance of rain at 80%, with temperatures in the low 60s. A slight break is expected by Saturday, with partly sunny skies returning.
Residents are urged to drive cautiously and prepare for possible power outages. Stay updated with local alerts and have an emergency plan in place.
