Hanford, CA – A mix of fog, sunshine, and rain is in store for the first full week of February across Central California. After a warm and sunny Sunday, rain chances increase Monday night, with heavier showers expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, widespread fog will continue into Monday morning, followed by increasing clouds and a high near 68°F. Rain is likely late Monday night, with a 70% chance of showers. Tuesday brings a 90% chance of rain, gusty winds up to 15 mph, and highs in the low 60s.
Tuesday night will see steady rain, with up to half an inch of precipitation possible. Wednesday will be cloudy with a 50% chance of rain, while overnight lows drop into the low 40s. Thursday brings another round of rain, with possible thunderstorms and an 80% chance of precipitation.
Residents should prepare for wet road conditions and reduced visibility due to fog in the mornings. Keep an umbrella handy and drive cautiously.
