Chicago, IL – Unseasonably Mild Weather Holds, But Wintry Mix Possible Saturday Night

Chicago will continue to experience near-to-above normal temperatures heading into February. However, a wintry mix of rain and snow could develop Saturday night.

According to the National Weather Service, highs will range from the mid-30s to low 50s over the next several days. Saturday will see temperatures between 34-39°F, with rain tapering off early. A 40-60% chance of snow and rain exists north of I-80 Saturday night.

Sunday and Monday will bring mild conditions, with highs reaching 54°F. However, colder air returns Tuesday, with lows dipping into the 20s. By Wednesday, another system could bring rain, with a 50-70% chance of precipitation and falling temperatures.
