CHP in pursuit of alleged armed motorist in L.A.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol are in pursuit of a possibly armed motorist on Wednesday night.

It’s unclear exactly what time the pursuit was initiated, but officers with the South Gate Police Department turned the chase over to CHP just before 11 p.m.

Preliminary and unconfirmed reports suggest that the driver is armed with two handguns and a rifle that were possibly tossed out of the vehicle after the driver entered a parking garage.
