Clippers fan hits insane half-court shot to win a vacation

Ahead of Valentine’s Day on Friday, this Los Angeles Clippers fan is reminding you to “shoot your shot.”

While participating in a competition during the Clippers’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies at the Intuit Dome on Wednesday, a fan took a one-handed desperation half-court shot with a free vacation on the line.

As captured on video, that line-drive throw went straight in the bucket.

The fan needed to score 15 points in a tight 30-second timeframe. The amount of points rewarded per basket depended on where he took the shots from.

He struggled in the early going, scoring just one point in the first 27 seconds. With just three seconds on the clock, he wound up baseball-style from half-court, which nets all 15 points needed in one shot.

Somehow, it went in, the crowd erupted and the fan won a free trip to Hawaii.

The Clippers defeated the Grizzlies 128-114 on Wednesday.
