Gaylord, MI – Snow showers are set to make a return to northern Michigan tonight, bringing slippery conditions and potentially hazardous roadways. A clipper system moving across the region could deliver up to 2 inches of snow by Thursday morning, particularly near Lake Michigan.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers will taper off briefly during the day but are expected to intensify overnight into Thursday. Drivers on M-32 and surrounding roads should prepare for reduced visibility and icy patches. Temperatures will hover between 13°F and 21°F tonight before warming slightly to a high near 30°F on Thursday.

The snow is expected to continue through Thursday evening, with another chance of accumulation on Friday afternoon. Weekend forecasts predict colder temperatures, with lows dropping to 5°F on Saturday night and snow showers likely to persist.
