Eureka, CA – A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for coastal areas and interior valleys in southern Mendocino and southern Lake counties from midnight to 9 a.m. Monday.
The National Weather Service in Eureka announced that temperatures are expected to drop as low as 25 degrees during the advisory period. Residents are urged to prepare for the cold by providing adequate shelter for pets and protecting sensitive plants from frost.
