Grand Junction, CO – Snow showers are forecast to sweep across the I-70 corridor today and continue into the weekend, impacting travel conditions in the northern mountains. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect, with some areas expected to see accumulations of up to 10 inches by Sunday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, snow will begin late Friday afternoon, primarily affecting the mountains and high-elevation valleys. Travelers are urged to plan ahead, carry emergency kits, and monitor road conditions.
