Colorado-Utah Winter Advisory: Snow, Slippery Roads Expected Through Saturday

Grand Junction, CO – A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. MST Saturday for parts of Colorado and Utah, bringing snow and hazardous travel conditions.
According to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction, the Roan and Tavaputs Plateaus in Colorado can expect an additional 3 to 5 inches of snow. In Utah’s Eastern Uinta Mountains, snowfall will continue above 7,500 feet, with 2 to 4 inches expected. Winds could gust up to 45 mph, creating potential whiteout conditions.
Drivers should prepare for slippery roads and reduced visibility, especially in higher elevations. The hazardous conditions may impact travel through Saturday evening. Officials urge motorists to slow down and use caution.
