Wichita, KS – A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for central, south-central, and southeast Kansas from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.

The advisory warns that fog will reduce visibility to a quarter-mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions on highways and rural roads.

The NWS urges motorists to slow down, use low-beam headlights, and allow extra travel time. Visibility may change rapidly, increasing risks for accidents.
