Denver, CO – Snow Showers Expected for Southern Colorado Wednesday Night

Clear skies will dominate Colorado tonight, but snow showers will return Wednesday evening. The heaviest snowfall will impact the southern Front Range, Palmer Divide, and southeastern plains.

According to the National Weather Service Denver/Boulder, snowfall will begin Wednesday afternoon, with accumulations of 1 to 4 inches in the mountains and foothills. The Denver metro and plains could see up to an inch.

Roads may become slick, especially in higher elevations and south of I-70. Drivers should check cotrip.org for updates before traveling.

The approaching system will bring colder temperatures, but conditions will improve by Thursday morning. Light snow could persist in isolated areas before skies clear.
