The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will honor “seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making.” The event kicks off on May 16, 2025, and will run throughout summer 2026.
Here’s what guests can expect during the 70th Celebration:
New additions to rides
In sunny Mexico in “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., Miguel and Dante from the Disney and Pixar film “Coco” will join the other children in song. Miguel and his trusted alebrije, Dante, will be added to “It’s A Small World.” Guests can see the new additions when the attraction reopens on April 25, 2025.
Toy Story Midway Mania! in DCA will include special 70th-anniversary nods, as well.

Beginning May 16, 2025, and continuing through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will honor seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making in Anaheim, Calif. Guests will be able to “celebrate happy” with limited-time entertainment, such as the fan-favorite dazzling nighttime parade, “Paint the Night,” featuring innovative floats, vibrant costumes, incredible special effects, unforgettable music and energetic performances. Disneyland:
Fan-favorite entertainment, such as the “Paint the Night” parade, will see the return of Anna and Elsa on the “Frozen”-themed float when it hits the Disneyland parade route this summer.
The parade will also feature characters from Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars” and “Toy Story,” as well as Disney Animation classics such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
The fireworks show “Wondrous Journeys” will also return during the celebration.
Additionally, the new nighttime projection show, “Tapestry of Happiness,” will animate the facade of “It’s A Small World,” blending iconic Disneyland attractions and music in a tribute to the park’s history.
The park also announced that it would add the third and final verse to the “It’s A Small World” attraction beginning on July 17, in honor of the attraction’s 60th anniversary.
The 70th celebration will also introduce “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” at Disneyland, featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and an array of rare Disney characters like Duffy and ShellieMay.
The “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade and the brand-new “World of Color Happiness!” will be at Disney California Adventure.
The brand-new show, “World of Color Happiness!” will explore happiness through a kaleidoscope of emotions, hosted by Joy and the other emotions from Pixar Animation Studios films “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2.”
The nighttime spectacular will also feature an interactive experience, encouraging guests to sing and dance along, as well as a special performance of “Rainbow Connection” by Boyz II Men and an original song by Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums.
The Muppets will also share a special message ahead of “World of Color Happiness!”
Ticket Deal & More Discounts
Beginning March 11, 2025, visitors can purchase the limited-time Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer, which includes a three-day, one-park per day ticket for as low as $120 per day, totaling $360. Guests looking for additional savings can opt for a four-day, one-park per day ticket for as low as $100 per day, totaling $400.
The tickets are valid for visits between May 16 and Aug. 14, 2025. Options to upgrade to Park Hopper tickets and add the Lightning Lane Multi Pass are also available. Park reservations are required.

Décor

New 70th anniversary décor will dawn the entire resort, including Sleeping Beauty’s castle, which will have an elegant medallion to mark the occasion.
An upbeat new theme song, “Celebrate Happy,” will also be heard throughout the celebration.
Guests can also expect themed decorations throughout the resort, including a 50-foot sculpture in the esplanade, a vibrant floral Mickey display, and golden charms adorning Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Carthay Circle Restaurant at DCA will also be decked out in 70th colors. In the evenings, the restaurant’s exterior will invite everyone to “celebrate happy” during a special moment filled with music, lights, and projection effects.
