Dunkin’ Donuts Supplier Issued Recall Last Month Over Listeria Concerns

Brownsburg, IN – A supplier of Dunkin’ donuts, Indiana-based FGF Brands, issued a voluntary recall last month due to potential listeria contamination. The recall, initiated on January 7, impacted popular Dunkin’ items such as Bavarian Kreme donuts, French Crullers, and Munchkins.

According to FGF Brands, no donuts or food preparation surfaces tested positive for listeria. The recall was a precautionary measure after environmental samples from one of its facilities detected the bacteria. No illnesses have been reported.

The recalled products were distributed nationwide in the U.S. and Canada but have since expired and are no longer in stores. Listeria infections can pose serious health risks, particularly to pregnant individuals, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, nausea, and stomach pain.

Consumers who may still have frozen or stored recalled products should discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. The recall remains ongoing as a precaution.
