On Friday morning, all northbound lanes on the 110 Freeway near Exposition Boulevard were stopped after a driver going the wrong way on the northbound side hit a taxi head-on.
Around 3 a.m., people heard about the crash. The taxi driver died on the spot, and one passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A Chevy Cruze was going the wrong way. Both of that car’s riders were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Starting around South L.A., the lane closing slowed down traffic going north.
Around 6 a.m., the CHP opened the roads again.
The victims’ names have not been made public.
