Binghamton, NY – Snow showers are set to return to Binghamton on Sunday morning, kicking off several days of wintry weather across the region.
Saturday will bring increasing clouds, with highs reaching 25°F. Overnight, temperatures will drop to 21°F, and a slight chance of snow showers is expected after midnight. By Sunday, a 30% chance of snow showers before 1 p.m. will create slick conditions on local roadways, with gusty winds up to 21 mph adding to the chill. Sunday’s high will be near 31°F, but wind chills will make it feel much colder.
Monday offers a brief reprieve, with mostly sunny skies and highs around 33°F. However, snow returns by Tuesday, with a 60% chance of showers expected throughout the day. Tuesday’s high of 35°F and overnight lows near 15°F could bring icy conditions and reduced visibility.
Drivers should prepare for potential delays and allow extra time for commutes, especially on untreated surfaces. Keep an eye on local forecasts for updates as conditions develop.
