Famous Los Angeles donut chain introducing FireAid Donut

Beloved Los Angeles-based donut chain Randy’s Donuts is doing their part to help out in the wildfire recovery efforts by creating a limited-edition donut.

The FireAid Donut, named after the FireAid Benefit Concert taking place in Inglewood at both the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum on Jan. 30, is a raised donut featuring vanilla icing, red sprinkles and a red heart symbolizing unity and care for those who were impacted by the fires, Randy’s officials said in a media release.

The FireAid Donut itself is available for purchase starting Friday. It costs $5.

All proceeds from FireAid Donut purchases made between Friday and Sunday will go directly to FireAid, but Randy’s isn’t stopping there; through the entire month of February, all participating locations will donate $3 from the purchase of each donut to FireAid.

The participating locations are:

  • Inglewood: 805 W. Manchester Blvd.
  • Downey: 8721 Firestone Blvd.
  • Costa Mesa: 2930 Harbor Blvd.
  • Pasadena: 230 S. Lake Ave.
  • Santa Monica: 829 Wilshire Blvd.
  • Culver City: 4114 Sepulveda Blvd.
  • El Segundo: 2181 Rosecrans Ave.
  • Torrance: 23330 Hawthorne Blvd.
  • Burbank: 3007 N. Hollywood Way
  • North Hollywood: 4805 Vineland Ave.
  • Riverside: 3519 Van Buren Blvd.
  • San Diego: 3737 Murphy Canyon Road

Randy’s Donuts, whose flagship Inglewood location opened in 1952, has expanded from Los Angeles and now has locations in Orange County, the Inland Empire and the San Diego area. A further two locations will soon open in Fresno, according to the Randy’s store locator.

Randy’s has also moved out of state, setting up four shops in Las Vegas and another four in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The chain has also opened up eight locations in South Korea, two in Saudi Arabia and 11 in the Philippines; according to the store locator, they will soon be bringing L.A.’s most famous donuts to Mexico City.

In November, the company also announced plans to open 50 stores across Japan, the first of which is set to open in Tokyo in the second quarter of 2025.
