BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. — The Bakersfield Police Department says that a guy has died after being hit by a car northwest of the city.
At 12:15 a.m. on May 19, 2023, a pedestrian was hit by a car at the crossing of Hageman Road and Mohawk Street, according to the BPD.
When they got there, the man had major injuries.
He was said to be dead.
The driver of the car did not get hurt.
Officers said that the investigation showed that the driver was going west on Hageman Road when he hit the man who was crossing the road outside of a sign.
The driver didn’t leave and is now helping the cops.
Investigations are still going on.
