Tallahassee, FL – A cold rain continues to drench Tallahassee today, with temperatures struggling to rise above the mid-40s. Residents should prepare for wet roads and limited visibility through mid-afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, rain will taper off by evening, giving way to mostly clear skies overnight. Temperatures are expected to dip to 36°F tonight, raising concerns about patchy frost on Tuesday morning. Drivers commuting on I-10 and other major roads should use caution, as slick conditions may persist during morning hours.

Tuesday brings a brighter outlook, with sunny skies and a high near 56°F. However, the chill returns Tuesday night, as temperatures fall to 38°F. The cool trend continues through the week, with highs in the mid-50s on Wednesday and Thursday. By Friday, warmer air arrives, with a high near 62°F under sunny skies.

Rain chances increase again late Friday night, with the potential for thunderstorms on Saturday. While no severe weather is forecast, residents should remain alert for updated advisories.

Prepare for fluctuating temperatures and frost potential this week. Bundle up and drive safely if traveling during the rain today or tomorrow’s early frost.
