Garcelle Beauvais is leaving ‘RHOBH’

A major shakeup to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
On Tuesday morning, Garcelle Beauvais revealed she’s leaving the popular Bravo series.

“Hey guys, so I have some news,” she told her 1.4 million followers. “I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills. It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride.”

She revealed the reason for her exit: her twin sons, Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas Nilon.

“Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that,” she said.

She also mentioned how Jaid has just started his modeling career and she wants “to be a part of that too.”

Beauvais, a model herself who later became an actress, also announced she has some “exciting projects” herself that she’s “developing, producing and acting in.”

While she must stay tight-lipped for now, she will reveal them soon.

“I just want to thank Andy Cohen, Bravo NBC, Universal Evolution, 32 flavors, the producers, the crew, and of course, the ladies. Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open, so you never know I might pop back in some time,” she explained. “To the fans, I want to say, thank you so much. You guys have cheered me on, supported me and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf. It means a lot, and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me.”

She said, “It’s not goodbye, it’s See you later. So see you later.”

Beauvais made history as the first Black cast member on the Bravo reality series during Season 10 in April of 2020. The series itself debuted in 2010 and is currently in its 14th season, which also stars Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke and Bozoma Saint John with appearances by Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly as “friends of the housewives.”
