According to the National Weather Service, a 30% chance of snow begins Tuesday afternoon, increasing to 40% by the evening. Highs on Tuesday are expected to reach 34°F, with lows plummeting to 16°F overnight. Winds could exacerbate freezing conditions, making travel potentially dangerous.

The weekend leading up to Tuesday will see fluctuating weather patterns. Saturday brings rain, with showers likely by late morning and an 80% precipitation chance throughout the day. Highs will reach 58°F before dropping to 39°F overnight. Sunday is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a high near 47°F and lows dropping sharply to 15°F.

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, sunny skies return, but temperatures remain cold, with highs reaching only 31°F. Overnight, conditions stay frigid, with lows near 18°F.

Drivers are advised to monitor road conditions and avoid unnecessary travel on Tuesday if snow accumulates. Areas near major routes like State Route 54 and Interstate 85 could see significant impacts. Local authorities recommend checking updates frequently and stocking up on essentials over the weekend.
