Boise, ID – Boise residents should prepare for shifting weather conditions, as an Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect until Friday morning, followed by snow and rain later this week.

According to the National Weather Service, stagnant air is expected to continue through 9 a.m. Friday, leading to poor air quality. Residents, particularly those with respiratory conditions, should limit outdoor exposure and follow their doctors’ guidance.

By Friday morning, snow is expected before transitioning into rain by the afternoon, with a 90% chance of precipitation. Highs will reach 44°F, but wet conditions will persist into the weekend.

Saturday will see steady rainfall and highs near 47°F, continuing into Sunday morning before tapering off later in the day.

Drivers should prepare for wet roads and reduced visibility starting Friday. Stay updated on road conditions and weather alerts by checking local forecasts regularly.
