Indiana and Ohio Weather Alert: Snow Showers and Reduced Visibility Thursday

Wilmington, OH – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wilmington has issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, with snow showers expected Thursday afternoon into the early evening.

According to the NWS, scattered snow showers may cause reduced visibility and localized snow accumulations of up to half an inch. Motorists should prepare for slippery road conditions and exercise caution during periods of heavier snow.

Areas Affected:

Indiana: Wayne, Fayette, Union, Franklin, and surrounding counties

Kentucky: Boone, Kenton, Campbell, and neighboring areas

Ohio: Franklin, Hamilton, Montgomery, Licking, and other central and southwest counties

From Friday through Wednesday, the likelihood of hazardous weather across the region remains low, though residents are advised to monitor weather updates in case conditions change.
